Content of the online offering

hint.de GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the provider) accepts no responsibility for the topicality, correctness, completeness, or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the provider relating to material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information are excluded, unless there is evidence of wilful intent or gross negligence on the part of the provider. All offers are subject to change and non-binding. The provider expressly reserves the right to change, supplement, delete parts of the pages or the entire offer without prior notice or to discontinue publication temporarily or permanently.

In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites (“hyperlinks”) that are outside the provider’s area of responsibility, liability would only arise in the event that the provider was aware of the content and it would have been technically possible and reasonable for them to prevent use in the event of illegal content. The provider hereby expressly declares that at the time the links were created, no illegal content was discernible on the linked pages. The provider has no influence whatsoever on the current and future design, content, or authorship of the linked pages. Therefore, the provider hereby expressly distances itself from all content on all linked/connected pages that has been changed since the link was created. This statement applies to all links and references within the provider’s own website as well as to external entries in guest books, discussion forums, and mailing lists set up by the provider. The provider of the page to which reference is made is solely liable for illegal, incorrect, or incomplete content and in particular for damage resulting from the use or non-use of such information, not the person who merely refers to the respective publication via links.

The provider endeavors to observe the copyrights of the graphics, sound documents, video sequences, and texts used in all publications, to use graphics, sound documents, video sequences, and texts created by itself, or to make use of license-free graphics, sound documents, video sequences, and texts. All brands and trademarks mentioned on the website and possibly protected by third parties are subject without restriction to the provisions of the applicable trademark law and the ownership rights of the respective registered owners. The mere mention of a trademark does not imply that it is not protected by the rights of third parties! The copyright for published objects created by the provider itself remains solely with the provider. Any duplication or use of such graphics, audio files, video sequences, and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the express consent of the author.

Data protection

Where the website offers the option of entering personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses), the disclosure of this data by the user is expressly voluntary. The use and payment of all offered services is permitted – as far as technically possible and reasonable – without specification of such data or under specification of anonymized data or an alias. The use of contact data published in the imprint or comparable information, such as postal addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and email addresses, by third parties for the purpose of sending unsolicited information is not permitted. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action against senders of so-called spam mails in violation of this prohibition.

As a rule, it is possible to use our website without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or email addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.

We hereby expressly object to the use of contact data published within the scope of the imprint obligation by third parties for sending unsolicited advertising and information materials. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam emails.

This disclaimer is to be regarded as part of the provider’s website. If sections or individual terms of this statement are not legal or correct, the content or validity of the other parts remain uninfluenced by this fact.

Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We would therefore like to explain here what data we store when you visit our website, why we do so, and when the data is deleted. Personal data is any information relating to a named or identifiable person. This includes, for example, your name, address, or telephone number, but also the IP address of the computer you use to access our website.

Responsible party

Stefan Hammes, Talstr. 15, 67706 Krickenbach, Germany, is responsible for processing the data collected on our website.

Technical data

When you visit our website, general data and information are stored in the server log files. The following data may be collected:

  • Information about the browser type and version used

  • The user’s operating system

  • The user’s Internet service provider

  • The user’s IP address

  • Date and time of access

  • Websites from which the user’s system accesses our website

  • Websites accessed by the user’s system via our website

When using this general data and information, we do not draw any conclusions about the data subject. The collection of data is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content of websites requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. The anonymous data in the server log files is stored separately from all other personal data that may be entered elsewhere by a data subject. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 lit. b GDPR. The technical data described above is deleted as soon as you leave the website. The only exception to this is if we inform you in this privacy policy that the data may still be required for other purposes (e.g. for analysis). The provision of this technical data is neither required by law nor contractually required, nor is it necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide personal data. AWStats

Based on the technical data, we use the tool “AWStats,” a web analysis software for statistical evaluation of user access to our website. The statistics generated regularly contain the following information: requests, visits, referrals, countries of origin of the requests, and the amount of data delivered. These statistics can be viewed both graphically and textually and are displayed on different time scales (hours, days, months, years). These evaluations are not combined with other data sources, in particular with personal data. The information generated is processed by our provider on a server in Germany. It is not passed on to third parties. Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in estimating the extent of use of our offerings on the Internet and designing them in line with demand. We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed for statistical purposes, but after 14 days at the latest. The provision of your data to AWStats is neither legally nor contractually required and is also not necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. If you object to processing, this will have no consequences for you.

Right to information, correction, and deletion

You can request information from us about what personal data we have stored about you and what we do with this data. If data has been recorded incorrectly, you have the right to have it corrected. You can also request that such data be deleted or only used for specific purposes. At your request, we will also make the data stored here available to you or transfer it to a third party designated by you.

If we process personal data because you have expressly given us your consent to do so, you can revoke this consent at any time.

Right to lodge a complaint

You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority with local jurisdiction for our headquarters is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Rhineland-Palatinate, P.O. Box 30 40, 55020 Mainz.

Security and data encryption

Our website uses technical and organizational security measures to protect your data managed by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments. Whenever you are asked to enter data about yourself, your data is protected for data transmission over the Internet using SSL (secure socket layer) encryption, so that it cannot be read by unauthorized persons.

Please note that our pages may contain links to websites of other providers to which this privacy policy does not extend.
